About Option Pit

Option Pit is a full service option trader mentoring program dedicated to meeting the needs of today’s options traders.  The option trader programs include three pillars of success; Trade Structure, Risk Management, and the Efficient Use of Capital.  These pillars were developed by ex Amex and CBOE market maker, professional trader, and option mentor Mark Sebastian.  Option Pit is designed to improve the risk management and returns of all levels of option traders, from the new option trader to the professional option trader.

Mark Sebastian: Director of Education

 Mark Sebastian is a former market maker on both the Chicago Board Options Exchange and the American Stock Exchange.  Along with his role directing the path of education for Option Pit, Mark is currently the director of risk for a private hedge fund. He started the popular blog Option911.com, which is now the Option Pit blog.  Sebastian has been published in TheStreet.com, SFO, OptionsZone, and is a managing editor for Expiring Monthly: The Option Traders Journal.  Mark has a Bachelor’s in Science from Villanova University.
